I left school in 2009 and went to college to do a sports science BTEC course for 2 years at South Essex College. I thouroughly enjoyed my time there and so went on to do a Sports Studies degree course at the University of Essex in September 2011. it was a 3 year course and I studied many different sport related topics including sports coaching, analysis of sports performance, sports psychology, anatomy and physiology and more. During my second year of university in 2013 I completed my REPS level 2 gym instructor qualification. this got me interested in training people in a gym environment to help them achieve their goals and aims. I then completed REPS level 3 in October 2014 which made me a qualified personal trainer.
In Febuary 2015 I become a self employed personal trainer. I am a non intimidating trainer who doesn't believe that the gym is all about bulking up. It's much more than that. I understand why some people do not want to go to the gym because they feel intimidated because they think they have to look like Vin diesel. This is wrong! the gym is there for everyone no matter what their goals are.
