About Me

I left school in 2009 and went to college to do a sports science BTEC course for 2 years at South Essex College. I thouroughly enjoyed my time there and so went on to do a Sports Studies degree course at the University of Essex in September 2011. it was a 3 year course and I studied many different subjects including sports coaching, analysis of sports performance, sports psychology, anatomy and physiology and more. During my second year of university in 2013 I completed my level 2 gym instructor qualification. this got me interested in training people in a gym environment to help them achieve their goals and aims. I then became a level 3 personal trainer in October 2014. This then lead me onto completing various other related qualifications including my Level 4 master practitioner in personal training. I am a member of The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA)

I am a non intimidating trainer who doesn't believe that the gym is all about bulking up. It's much more than that. I understand why some people do not want to go to the gym because they feel intimidated and i pride myself on ensuring that i deliver a non intimidating environment to train in so that you can both, enjoy training and feel comfortbale. The gym is there for everyone no matter what their goals are. I continue to develop my skills as a trainer through learning via courses as well as my ever growing experience so that i can deliver the best possible experience to all of my fantastic clients.
